What I make
The main thing
Full kitchens or single runs. Hardwood drawer boxes, dovetailed corners, soft-close hardware, hand-fit to your walls. Designed with you and finished to last decades.
Mudrooms, entryway cubbies, window seats, pantry systems. The pieces that make a house actually live well.
Library walls, fireplace surrounds, freestanding case work. Designed as architecture, not furniture.
Bespoke vanities and bath storage that integrate plumbing, fixtures, and the room's lines.
Where I work
Custom work for homes from Bellingham through Skagit County to the San Juan Islands. Local source, local install, local follow-up.

About Mollie
I trained at the Port Townsend School of Woodworking and apprenticed under master cabinetmaker Rick Swanson in the Methow Valley before opening my own shop at Sunnyland Sawdust Collective in Bellingham.
Every project starts at your kitchen table, sketching what the piece needs to do. I bring the joinery, the finish work, the patience for things to sit right. You bring the home and the way you live in it.
The work I'm proudest of is the kind people stop noticing after a year, because it just fits.
The Collective
Willow Woodcraft has its home at the Sunnyland Sawdust Collective, a shared shop in Bellingham's Sunnyland neighborhood. I work alongside six other woodworkers and an interior decorator under one roof.
Custom cabinetry projects rarely live inside a single trade. When a kitchen needs a steel base, a custom door, or a finish I haven't tried, I can walk across the shop and ask. Clients borrow the whole bench of expertise around me, not just mine.
It also means I'm never working alone. Curious neighbors are the most reliable form of quality control I've found.

01
Email or call. Tell me about the space, the use, what you've been pinning. I'll let you know if it's a fit and what realistic budget and timeline look like.
02
I come measure, look at the space in person, and we sketch the piece together. You get drawings, material samples, and a fixed estimate before any commitment.
03
Most work happens at the Collective shop in Bellingham. I send progress photos. Lead times typically run 6 to 12 weeks depending on scope.
04
I install on-site, fit to your walls and floors, and finish the piece in place. You get a piece that looks like it was always meant to be there.
Kind words
“Mollie listened more than anyone we'd talked to. The kitchen feels like ours, not like a showroom.”
“The mudroom is the most-used room in our house now. Every hook is in the right place.”
“Quality of work I haven't seen from much bigger shops. And she's a genuine pleasure to have in our home.”
